ABOUT QUASHEBA

A practitioner of the
slow, sacred work.

I am a BBI-certified doula, Lamaze-trained childbirth educator, and MSc Midwifery candidate educated at Bastyr University, with a BA in Gender and Women's Studies from Pomona College. My practice is rooted in ancestral midwifery wisdom and clinical rigor. I prepare your whole mind, body, spirit, and community for the work of birth.

My thesis examines the evidence base for complementary and alternative medicine in preconception. My practice is the meeting place of that scholarship and the ancestral wisdom that came long before it.

THE METHODOLOGY

Four threads woven into
every season of care.

SPIRIT

Tuned and Aligned.

I hold the sacred dimensions of conception, birth, and postpartum as your own, divinely guided and fully honored. I bring education and ancestral wisdom into rooms where a twelve-minute appointment used to be all you were given.

MIND

Educated and Empowered.

I return cycle literacy, birth physiology, and the language of consent to you in plain words. You will leave our sessions understanding what is happening in your body and what is being asked of it.

BODY

Nourished and Nurtured.

Together we work with nourishment, breath, cycle, and the slow readying of tissue and blood, months before the test reads positive. I meet your body as a knowing thing, honored as wise.

COMMUNITY

Held and Honored.

I teach your partner, kin, and community how to be present in a way that carries real weight. Birth is a passage held by many hands, and I prepare them all alongside you.
